The Sacagawea Skirt is a winter staple!  Warm, soft and oh so cozy.  IT's basically a sweatshirt in skirt form.  I know, amazing right?! Inspired by Sacagawea;  helped the Lewis & Clark Expedition with her baby strapped to her back,  A Shoshone woman, she accompanied the expedition as an interpreter and traveled with them for thousands of miles from St Louis, Missouri, to the Pacific Northwest. The National American Woman Suffrage Association of the early 20th century adopted her as a symbol of women's worth and independence, erecting several statues and plaques in her memory, and doing much to recount her accomplishments.
